Our smallest bracket measures 5 1/4" along the surface to be mounted on the wall and shelf bottom. Nicknacks or small books are easily displayed in style.
It is recommended that shelf brackets always be mounted on 2 x 4 or other load-bearing structure. Failure will compromise the strength of the shelf when mounted.
